Bradford is committed to supporting the community in which
our employees live and work. The local YMCA in Kent County
was the benefactor of the continued generosity of the
Howland family with a leadership gift in memory of Allen &
Katherine Howland.
The Kent County YMCA was established in 1947 and serves
over 15,000 people through a variety of programs and
services. The Y operates 7 child-care sites in Warwick,
West Warwick, Coventry and East Greenwich, serving over
180 children and their families. The Kent County YMCA has
also been nationally recognized for the development of Prime
Time - a program that focuses on families in the Y, serving
more than 750 children and their families per week.
