Amenity Aid

Some of Bradford's most important work is right here at home through Amenity Aid. Amenity Aid works tirelessly to eliminate hygiene poverty in Rhode Island. Since 2015, Bradford has been proud to support its efforts with bar soap donations that are now distributed to over 50 local organizations.

Amenity Aid collects, purchases, and distributes personal care products such as soap, feminine care, shampoo, and toothbrushes to help individuals and families most in need throughout Rhode Island. Health and hygiene products are not covered under SNAP benefits, so many households struggle to buy enough products to meet their needs. When hygiene products are out of stock, individuals, and families seeking assistance forgo toiletries essential to good health and wellness. Amenity Aid was founded in 2013, donating approximately 3,000 products. They have grown rapidly and now donate over 85,000 products per year to over nine organizations, and over 50 collaborator organizations.
